So it's been really hot here in LA lately. As in, "let's have fires like it's the motherfucking summer" hot. These were taken this morning - not by me but by my coworker who lives closer to the fire. The darker side of nature. Even though I live much further west by the beach, the clouds were crazy this morning. They were all red/orange/pink and when the sun shined (shone?) through them, it created this really eerie, post-apocalyptic vibe. Obviously, my coworker is a better photographer.
