I have a sweet dog that I rescued six years ago. His name is Dante, and he has a gimpy leg and one blind eye. Someone had thrown him from a moving vehicle and left him to die on the side of the highway, at least that's the story I got when I adopted him.

I also have two companion parrots, both rescued - a sun conure and an African grey. I will share more about my pets in comments below, but wanted to get the question out there without too much fluff!
