I'm very excited about the technology, but very anxious about the tether. We should be able to retrieve information and communicate with each other anonymously, but I don't see that as a likely choice going forward. Using these glasses will mean accepting Google's privacy agreement. A few years ago, I would be nothing but excited about these. I wish we could get tools that didn't mine us.

Hubski glasses will be awesome.
But seriously, I would be surprised if Apple isn't working on it. They need to keep evolving as mobile computing does. However, I am not personally convinced voice activation is the way to go. I'd rather have a heads-up eyewear display, and then trace one finger in my other palm as the touchpad. Maybe you could do that with eyewear plus a wristband.
