Landslide in northern Arkansas added at least two hours to my drive and WOW it was the most beautiful highway in the state. Not a highway. A little road that suddenly went gravel without warning except a homemade sign that I didn't understand until too late. Hit the sand stuff at 75 so that was fun. Was running out of gas and had no idea if it connected through to the state road, and then it (sort of) did, anyway I made it to a beautiful town and now I'm gonna sit by the pool. Which is actually OPEN. Seems like half of hubski is going through some pretty wild changes in their personal life. EDIT: the new pubski time is an improvement. Say aye?
Cool, my dad is from Calico Rock, which is three counties East of you. If you ever have a free day, and are willing to take a drive, check out a blog called Exploring Izard County and try to find something they point out. Lots of cool stuff in the Ozarks—caves, ghost towns, cabins, and of course springs. Beautiful area.
