Apparently the opposition shot down Yanukovych's appeal for a roundtable of peace talks. It makes you worry about a protest-fueled power grab. Hopefully the protesters won't be co-opted. I am sure some of the police are less than excited to be there.In the early hours of the morning a few dozen policemen even began chatting to protesters and drinking tea on the edges of Independence Square, though further in barricades were topped with barbed wire and guarded by men wearing balaclavas and holding wooden plans.
