I think that he is America with a Latin background. To my knowledge, the majority of reddit users are from the states, Australia and some from the UK. For a school to block reddit specifically is special, which might mean that they do have a problem with many students spending time there... Which suggests that it's not a south American country. This is worth nothing if the school uses a typical list for "distracting and unproductive websites"
