Really? I've grown fond of it. It's a badge giving you badges, rather than a hubwheel giving you badges, next to another hubwheel. Maybe if it were smaller/larger?
I also like the new design, it's a nice contrast to the logo. With the scale though, I would only prefer it bigger(Maybe same size as logo?) if it didn't line up with the hubwheels next to people's names, currently it does and doesn't depending on which resolution/zoom you have it on. On large resolutions it is too far to the left to line up On small resolutions, it's too far to the right to line up On medium resolutions it seems to line up justttt rightt (I press ctrl+0 to zoom to 100% and always had it in landscape) I think it would be cool if it was only bigger when it doesn't line up, there's a nice symmetry if they're the same scale and line up.
