Many people are suffering deep inside due to what is known as generalized anxiety disorder. What doctors don't normally tell these people is that it takes more than medication to cure this disease.

Shared. I think people misunderstand generalized anxiety disorder. It's not just mousy, shy or quiet people that suffer from it. I'm a very outgoing, social person, but I still feel anxiety a lot of the time. I just force myself to deal with it and hide it. I know that's probably not the best method of coping, but I thought I'd share.
