I'm on the 800gs while he's on the 1200gs. This was a ride into 'the bush' as we call it in South Africa, to Qunu Falls.

Oh man what a great experience that must have been! Did you ever see the video about bmwbill's restoration of his Dad's Bimmer? That video was taken down with a DMCA notice and I helped him get rights to the song and we have kept in touch ever since. Then the video went absolutely crazy viral and BMW contacted him and reimbursed the money he paid for clearance. Then they paid for him and 2 friends to go to the Motorrad festival in Munich and loaned him 3 bikes for a week. He apparently put 2,000 kms on a 1200 that week.
