Yeah no, I'm not too excited honestly. It looks like, to me, that it's a Mirror's Edge prequel with a severe case of EAitis - if the trailer is anything to go by, it sounds like everything always has to be happening and the thing just NEEDED to be action packed (especially compared to the calmer, less urgent and more freestyle and puzzle-like style of the first game). They don't incentivize direct confrontation - but it sounds like things are going to be shot at, break and explode for a vast majority of the game, paused only for plot exposition. Plus with that new character, it just SCREAMS "extra story DLC - the other side of the coin" and "strong multiplayer aspect"
At long as you treat game trailers like you treat food advertisements, it's all good.
Yeah, of course - the trailer is very stylized in places. But from what we saw of the alpha gameplay I still get a very negative feeling about it.
