Came to see a discussion of lysergic acid diethylamide, left disappointed. I feel like the acronym is stretched a bit for the bait effect, "long" already implies "distance".
I'll have to try that next time I go out! Interval workout in preparation for a 5K trail race:
Warm up 10 minutes
2 minutes hard effort
2 minutes recovery jog
Start with four repetitions and work up to eight to 10
Cool down 10 minutes

Luckily, like you I find both topics worthy of note. I feel like I have the distance thing pretty well down, I need to now work on speed. Running a 10k on Saturday with cliffelam and hope to finish at an 8:30 pace. The last race (10 miler) I finished at a 9:00 pace on the nose.
