For those unfamiliar with WildStar, it is a MMORPG created by a studio of former Blizzard devs (Carbine) and published by NCSoft which launched back in June 2014 to critical acclaim, although the game in its launch state was very bug-ridden, poorly optimized, and lacked content.
After losing a significant chunk of its player-base, it relaunched as a free to play title in September 2015, but failed to really regain a lot of its lost players.
The Steam release seems to be Carbine's last ditch attempt to get new players into the game. If anyone likes MMOs and action combat, definitely give WildStar a shot. It's actually pretty decent and a lot of the optimization issues and bugs have been fixed.
