I guess they need to build some colosal construction or something there, right? The romanian Palace of Parliament was built on top of 3 historic neighbourhoods in central Bucharest. Other areas comprising aproximately 22% of the city were demolished or hidden behind blocks, and the streets were mostly redrawn to remove any trace of what was behind. Long story-short, people commited suicide here too because they didn't want to move. And when the authorities found their bodies they were thrown in trucks every time and carried away. No statistic was ever held about this. I guess this might happen there too at the moment of speaking.
