I mean that they are too quiet in the mix. Often times artists that are very fond of their own voice will do this. But it seems ingenious that LCD do it because often there songs start off relatively chill and you end up turning up the volume to hear the vocals better, then.... BAM when the song really kicks in it's loud as hell. Could be a tactical decision. But yeah, they're always really buried.
