That's really sad that a species is being efficiently destroyed with no end in sight. Snails are neat little things too, I hope something is figured out before it's too late. Invasive species are terribly problematic by nature. Have you ever had escargot?

I have had escargot a number of times. It's very earthy, almost always served with mushrooms in my experience. They're tasty.
