If you listened to the freakonomics podcast on parenting you will recognize this couple.
They were the couple that was raising their kid almost exactly opposite of how the data suggested they should. They admitted that even thou they wanted to raise their kid in a mellower, non tiger mom way they chose to raise thier kid in a high pressure maximum daily achievement environment, that was probably not in the kids best interest. Maybe they did a CBA on marriage, or maybe they like getting noticed, and being wacky, they certainly didn't seem to be the kind of people that act in any kind of rationally consistent manner.
