Had an interview Monday for the first time since the job search began. I think it went fairly well, should hear back in 2-3 weeks. Otherwise just working on quotes for floors and roof, and starting to think about moving logistics. Also trying to figure out how to have a reasonably priced wedding in the bay area. Shit is expensive yo.
I'd be down with that but we also want pictures of family and friends and a day to celebrate us so we're leaning towards wedding.

Backyard is both (a) tiny and (b) not accessible at all and we've got people we need accessibility for. None of the family in the area has a sufficiently sized yard unfortunately. Parks we've looked at. Some issues with accessibility and somewon't provide tables and chairs which becomes expensive quickly. We're gonna figure it out it'll just take some finagling
I shot a wedding in Oakland decades ago. The couple getting married weren't particularly well-off, as I was the only professional they'd hired. It was at a park on the water. Oddly enough one of the cheapest places to get married is wastewater treatment plants. They tend to be very park-like but if you catch them on a bad day
Both Seattle and LA have wedding packages and wedding coordinators. I spent two or three years designing this one. https://kingcounty.gov/en/dept/dnrp/waste-services/wastewater-treatment/education/rent-brightwater-center/rental-information/weddings Here's a few more
